east to west west to east

Today we went to my sons class Christmas party .We brought cup cakes half were red and half were green. The kids were surprisingly well behaved throughout the party.It being a party I thought they might be a little rambunctious ,but all treated their teacher and the parents that came with respect. I did notice one thing in the classroom that i found amusing it nothing to do with the kids .on each wall was labeled the direction north ,south ,east,west that was supposed to corresponds with the wall .but the east wall was clearly labeled west ,and vise versa the west wall was labeled east .I found this amusing ,and quietly told my wife that's why during a conversation with my son about which way our house was pointed he got east and west backwards. I could not bring myself to point this out to his teacher ,she has done such a good job with them. I have seen her improve through the years .She truly enjoys my son and he truly enjoys her . The great teaching she has done to all the kids in her class .Both the good ,the bad ,and the trouble makers .I will forgive her for having to readjust his east and west . For she has help give him confidence and purpose in his self .God bless those that really teach our kids not just curriculum but how to treat each other well in life.
